What’s the ATCG League Series All About?
Think of an alternative way to play Yu-Gi-Oh! tournaments! These tournaments happen every week at local OTS stores. You get to duel and show off your skills, and have a blast. But wait, there’s more!
How Does It Work?
Getting in on the action is super easy. Every time you join a weekly tournament, you earn points. These points add up based on how well you do and how often you play. So the more you duel, the more points you rack up!
Big Moments: Seasonal Tournaments and the Grand Finale
Every three months, things get even more exciting with Seasonal Tournaments. Anyone can join, but if you’ve been playing regularly in the ATCG League Series, you could score some sweet bonus prizes. And then, there’s the Grand Tournament – the ultimate showdown! Only eight (8) players from each area get invited. It’s where legends are made!

How to Earn Points in the ATCG League Series
Earning points in the ATCG League Series is straightforward and rewarding. Here’s how you can do it:
- Participation: Simply showing up to the weekly tournaments at your local OTS store earns you points. The more events you attend, the more points you can accumulate.
- Performance: Your performance in these tournaments also matters. Winning matches, achieving high scores, and demonstrating your dueling prowess will all contribute to your point total.
- Consistency: Regularly participating in events is key. The ATCG League Series rewards consistency, so making an effort to attend tournaments frequently will help you rack up points over time.
By combining participation, performance, and consistency, you can steadily build up your points tally in the ATCG League Series and climb the ranks to become a top contender. So, gather your deck, sharpen your skills, and get ready to embark on your journey to dueling greatness!
Participation
- Local Events: 2 points
- Regionals: 3 points
- OTS Championship: 3 points
Performance
- Win: 3 Points
- Draw: 1 Point
- Lose: 0 Points
Winners of any tournament will receive an additional 3 points
Regional and OTS Championship winners, as well as runners-up, will receive an additional 6 and 3 points, respectively.
Consistency
For consecutive tournament participations, players will earn an additional 1 point for each successive event attended, up to a maximum of 5 points per participation. For instance:
- 1st tournament: 2 points
- 2nd consecutive tournament: 3 points
- 3rd consecutive tournament: 4 points
Maximum of 4 points for subsequent consecutive participations (OTS Championships & Regionals are not included).
About the Tournament & Prizes
In the ATCG League Series, content creation takes center stage, with local shops responsible to cover with videos every event. videos such as (Deck Profiles, Duels, Interviews & More). Here’s how the rewards are structured:
Deck Profile Rewards (1.5 Additional Booster Packs).
- 0 Deck Profiles: Events with fewer than 6 players yield no deck profiles.
- Up to 2 Deck Profiles: Tournaments with 6-12 players can generate up to 2 deck profiles.
- Up to 4 Deck Profiles: Events with 13-21 players offer the potential for up to 4 deck profiles.
- Up to 4 Deck Profiles: Regionals, OTS Championships, and win-a-box tournaments also provide the opportunity for up to 4 deck profiles.
Regionals & OTS Championship Finals Coverage (2 Additional Booster Packs).
Interviews (Additional Booster Packs based on the interviews).
ATCG LEAGUE Series Seasonal Tournament
- Each deck profile submitted earns an additional booster pack (with a maximum of 48 booster packs).
- For example: if 48 deck profiles will be recorded during the season, there will be an additional 48 booster packs in the tournament prize pull.
- Winners and runners-up of the ATCG League Series Seasonal Tournament receive an exclusive stamped playmat.
ATCG LEAGUE Series Grand Finals!
The top 4 players based on points, the 3 seasonal tournament champions, and the ATCG League Series Champion of the previous season compete in the finals. (8 Players – Single elimination tournament).
Prizes for Finals:
- 1st Place: Receives an ATCG League Series Champion Playmat and 0.3x booster packs based on the total deck profiles taken in one season (e.g., 200 deck profiles = 60 booster packs).
- 2nd Place: Earns an ATCG League Series Runner-Up Playmat and 0.2x booster packs based on the total deck profiles taken in one season (e.g., 200 deck profiles = 40 booster packs).
Additional Prizes may awarded based on sponshorships
Points & Examples
Regular Tournament: Score 3-1-1 equals to 12 Points (3 Points for every win = 9 Points), 1 Point for the draw & 2 Points for the participation
Regionals/OTS Championship: Score: 6-0-1 equals to 21 Points (3 Points for every win = 18 Points), 0 Points for the lose & 3 Points for the participation. In case of 1st or second place there are additional points.
